Position Overview:
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting HH&C Trading Co.'s food delivery services to Chinese food restaurants in the Edmonton area. This role involves building relationships with restaurant owners and managers, distributing catalogs, highlighting our product offerings, and establishing a strong brand presence. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit Chinese food restaurants in the Edmonton area to introduce and promote our food delivery services.
- Distribute catalogs and promotional materials to restaurant owners and managers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understand the unique needs of Chinese food restaurants to provide tailored product recommendations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve collective business goals and objectives.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and competitive activities.
Requirements:
- University graduate, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is required.
- Previous experience in sales, particularly in the food service industry, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for client visits.
- Familiarity with Edmonton's local Chinese food scene is advantageous.
